Once upon a time lived a pink pug. He went to a potion house because he was looking for somewhere to sleep and while he was there he accidentally drank a potion. It made him huge! He grew overnight. He broke the roof when he woke up and climbed out. He picked five daffodils and put them at the front of the house, then he made a huge wooden bridge. It start to rain and sprinkled down on him. When he had to climb in from the roof he went to sleep on pink hay. He woke up and the river water had turned pink!

ReplyDeleteGreat first attempt at the 100 Word Challenge Emma.
ReplyDeleteI like your idea of the pug growing so big it broke through the roof - very inventive. Good use of adjectives to add detail.
Remember that we worked on making sure all of your ideas were included in the written part of your story. Some of them stayed in your head, but the reader needs them all written down so they understand the story the way you want them to.
Cool story Emma! And you even used my favourite piece of punctuation perfectly - the exclamation mark! "It made him huge!" Nice job
ReplyDeleteNice story, Emma! I really like that some of your sentences are short and punchy, while others are longer. It made your story interesting to read. Great use of exclamation marks, too!
