Wall of Stone by Oscar

One cold, snowy night, two people were riding a Mark-10 Myuslus chariot through the Lincoln tunnel. The chariot was built out of gold, celestial bronze and it had a high carriage. Suddenly, a wooden floor and stone wall appeared in front. The four white stallions reared.
“No Storm, Prince, Fire and Theseus”! The wall started talking
“I am Medusa”. Suddenly, the friends got sucked in.
“Question one, who was the first sun god”?
“Helios.”
“Question two, who was born to oppose Neptune?”
“Polybytes.”
“You failed me.” the friends stared at the Medusa head in the wall and turned to stone.

  1. Oscar you have so many stories inside of you - especially about the gods! Well done. I wasn't so sure about the ending, your story finished very quickly. Maybe you could spend a bit of time planning the end. Mum

  2. Hello Oscar,

What an interesting story! You seem to have knowledge of Greek mythology judging by the characters in your story. The mythological stories of the ancient Greek gods are certainly a tempting source for adventure. Well done.

I was also impressed by the care you have taken with vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and grammar. It shows your developing skills as a writer. This coupled with your creative imagination suggests you have many more adventures to share.

I hope you can continue entering the 100WC. Good adventures should be shared.
