Jay was born blind. He normally was either walking through the forest or reading alone. Fallen leaves crunched under his feet, he was following a feather in his memory. Jay had been seeing strange things in his mind, dead people, walking about as if nothing had happened to them. He was walking through the woods when he felt the ground collapse around him. He felt the hated crawl of water on his skin. He didn't know which way was up, the only part of him that was not in the water was his lower legs. “Help...”
